Is it normal to rip off your own skin tags?

So a few years ago, I had a skin tag in a very embarrassing spot, and I didn't want anyone to see it, not even doctors. It was on my asshole. So one day I dig my nail into it and it came clean off, bled like hell, and then it was as if it was never even there. Since then I've done that two more times, with perfect results. Is this normal, is this a good idea? Is this safe?

    You can remove them with apple cider vinegar...gouging anything out of your body is never normal.

        Be sure to clean the area with alcohol. Bake your equipment at 300F for 15-20 minutes to sterilize it before you start. I cut suspected melanoma lesions away with an Exacto knife whenever they happen.

    Fine if they are small, not if they bleed a lot or are in.... sensitive areas.

    Ripping one out of your asshole until you bleed everywhere definitely isn't normal. Not to mention it doesn't matter. Who would even look into your asshole and find out? But judging from what I've read, if they're small, then it should be fine to remove them yourself. Bleeding isn’t good.
