Whenever I see people texting while driving I yell at them to stop it and drive . I also have a sign that says STOP TEXTING!
A few of them tell back but mostly they just state at me . It's not illegal yet but it should be.
Yes. Most of the time someone is doing something stupid on the road they have a phone in their hand and they deserve to be yelled at.
About 2 years ago I was pretty eager to get somewhere so I was driving at 80-90mph, steering with my knee, and texting with both hands. --before anyone pounces on me, I don't text while driving anymore-- but during that 40minute drive there were at about 4-6 cars, including an 18-wheeler that were driving by my side and honked/gestured for me to stop being so reckless. What was interesting is no one appeared mad or scared (it was an open highway) but more so concerned, the truck driver wagged his finger in quite a funny way.
It's illegal in my country but people still do it. Even if people have no regard for their own lives, they should at least think about the fact that they're endangering other motorists and pedestrians.
Reminds me of my father. He curses and honks his horn at the texters who inconvenience him on the road, so I'll say normal.
Pennsylvania Law;
The law prohibits as a primary offense any driver from using an Interactive Wireless Communication Device (IWCD) to send, read or write a text-based communication while his or her vehicle is in motion.
Defines an IWCD as a wireless phone, personal digital assistant, smart phone, portable or mobile computer or similar devices that can be used for texting, instant messaging, emailing or browsing the Internet.
Defines a text-based communication as a text message, instant message, email or other written communication composed or received on an IWCD.
Institutes a $50 fine for convictions under this section.

Also, you mean that 100 grand Mercedes doesn't come with a blinker? If you don't use your blinker you aren't driving, you are just steering..
