Is it normal to see own personal desires is a priority over everything else?

Starting from building my own normative beliefs, my first and main premise is "fulfilling my own desires is the ultimate (intrinsic) good that should I live all my life for", and such a premise is not debatable for me refusing to believe otherwise.
Before stating such a premise, I want to show I use the word "Desire" in its known context that includes materialistic needs such as (food - sex - health) plus the known psychological needs.

The second point is everything I want to do/morally judge is completely related to my own moral system. Since mine is desirism, everything I want to do/morally judge much fit my own desires and egos. In short, I say x is good if and only if x fulfills my own desires.
Anyway, Is there anyone here who share the same idea, or It seems I am the only weird here?

Sounds selfish, but I trust you will be on to next thing in a matter of days, or perhaps a week at most. Why are you beliefs always so fleeting Hansberger?

Look up edonism and emotivism. This filosphies follow the same ideals as yours. At the end of the day some would argue that yoi are the one living ypur life and threfor it is only logical that you seek hapiness in whichever form you find it.

Sort of the same, as in I will not compromise my happiness for someone else's (I won't make myself miserable to make someone else happy).
