Is it normal that I snap with my index and middle finger rather than my thumb and my middle finger?

    I can't snap my fingers anyway lol. Nor can I whistle. I've always wanted to whistle but I think my mouth just cannot produce whistling.

    I use my thumb and ring finger, but to use the middle and index fingers... that's just crazy ;p

      index finger makes sense cause it's the closest. middle finger is justified too cause it's longest and allows space, but how does naturally use their ring finger??

        Dunno, for some reason my ring finger snaps the loudest. I can use my middle finger but it's just not the same. I tried using my index finger - now ~that~ feels unnatural.

      Squeeze your index and middle finger together, then when you middle finger is over your index finger, push your middle finger down.

        Yeah... I'm definitely not doing it right, haha. I'm just rubbing my fingers together at this point.

        But I guess if it works then I see no problem with snapping your fingers this way. I haven't heard of it though.

        Do you have to cross them a little bit, even just slightly? It's hard!
        And does the snap come from your finger hitting the palm?

    Do it all the time I put my thumb and my middle finger together and slap my first finger against them

    I use my thumb and ring finger to snap. Sometime, to jazz things up a bit, I do a double snap combo. I snap with ring finger then with middle finger directly after.
