Is it normal to 'stink'after sleeping?

I know this isn't the best place to ask, but I'd very much like to know if anyone's in the same boat as I am.

I am a 20- year old female who apparently emits a rather foul-smelling odor after sleeping. After a longer than 30-minute sleep I'll wake up and be told I stink. Be it at night, noon or morn. I'll still 'stink'.

I'd joke that I've died and my body was starting to decompose. Hence, the stink. (I really do sleep like the dead)

Jokes aside, I've always wondered what could have really caused this. Yes, I know it's normal as I'll be sweating whilst sleeping, but then again, there are times when it wasn't extremely hot and humid that I don't sweat, I still wake up 'stinky'.

I've been told this by my sisters, and mother.
I'm not completely mad about my situation as I'm the sort of person who bathes 2-3 times a day, and I've ALWAYS been bathing first thing after waking up. Yet, I still wonder what could be causing this.

If you bathe 2-3 times a day, it could actually be the excessive washing that is causing (or at least contributing to) the issue; much like scrubbing your face a lot can give you bad skin, bodies don't usually react well to being washed so often.

But anyway, like others have suggested, I'd say go see a doctor!

its real stink, the soap and lotion you use on your body is animal fat and it rots when bacteria use it as food , i had the same problem. skip all lotion and use a soap made from pure coconut oil . that oil kills bacteria they try to eat it. i then bought 50 bars of that soap. Also , avoid sugar and carbs , they make your feces stink to high heaven and the stink is water soluble and diffuses everywhere in your body smells like diarrhea. eat cooked meat and raw fruit and vegetables , your turds smell like cinnamon buns and your body will be a complete turn on to both men and women.

You probably "stink" because you wash your body so often. It doesn't have time to figure out proper hormone, chemical, oil, etc.. balances to prevent stinkiness. This is why people stress over greasy hair if they miss a single day of showering. When I was insanely sick, sometimes I could only take a bath instead of shower and I couldn't move my body in a way to move my head into the water comfortably, so over two months my hair got used to only being washed every 5 days. By the 5th day there was minimal trace of grease. Try letting your body get used to not-constant bathing. You should also probably talk to your doctor if you think it's something beyond this.

As stated above me, diseases and infections can cause foul odours. You really should see a doctor. Maybe, even a sleep expert.

I would recommend making sure that you bed is cleaned on a regular basis and that you allow some natural air to flow through your room on a regular basis if this does not work go see a consultant(if livin in uk) or seek some type of medical help for they will be able to explain better

Not me I don't think. But I've slept next to people that seem to have this problem. Like their body temp rises a bit and they sweat or something while they sleep. If its really bad though you might want to see a doctor and have some labs done. See if there's anything wrong.

Or your body is relaxing and releasing toxins and whatnot, like how you're supposed to drink tons of water after getting massaged because your body is riding itself of all the bad stuff built up inside you. That's what I thought if immediately

Sometimes emiting a weird smell is a sign of certain disease/disorders. Like diabetes or liver problems or certain metabolic disorders. Or sometimes a gynecological issue. Id get checked out by a doctor youre not embarrassed to talk with.
Either that or your mom and sister are playing around in a cruel way.

Go to bed clean. Keep a fan near your bed. Make sure you sheets and clothes are clean.
