Is it normal to suck at cleaning the house constantly / consistently ?

So my house isn't filthy but I am totally that person that will use EVERY available dish before washing anymore and I will wait until I am absolutely out of clothes/towels before I do the laundry. There are some clothes on the floor and my bathroom counter top littered with things...

is it normal that I feel so lazy and un-motivated to clean *every day*?

Its hard to develop new habits. Your completely normal. Sometimes people procrastinate due to perfectionism - the thought of cleaning up involves so much (because everything has to be perfect) that the thought of even starting is completely daunting. In addition, the reason that you would not do it as it happens is that you know you will get all perfectionist about it and it will still consume a lot of time and effort - still daunting.

I relate to this way too much. The kitchen is dirty right now, and it's been waiting for me to clean it all day...

I learned just to do a little at a time. So say you take the milk out of the fridge ... put it back!!

Laundry isn't hard to put in a machine and you can leave the ironing piled up, or put jeans under the mattress to iron out.

Just try not to make much of a mess in the first place.
