Is it normal to take pictures of my neighbor?

I have a hobby where I take pictures of the couple in the apartment right across from me. I have a telescopic lens on my camera and I take pictures of them whenever I can because they leave their blinds/ curtains open all the time. I want to save these pictures and send them to my neighbors one day when I move out of my apartment. I have no idea why I'm doing this and I don't realy have an end goal to all of this.

serious question. What law is this actually breaking, I'm sure it's breaking one but I'm just not sure what it would be if he's taking the photos from inside his own house

      • I'm not breaking any laws. I'm not forcing myself into their house or anything like that. I'm not coercing them to keep their blinds and curtains open. I'm just an observer. I take pictures. If they decided to keep their blinds and curtains closed forever then that's the end of that game. Everything I take pictures of is something you would be able to see if you were just walking by their apartment on a normal day.

    • If you find the specific law I'm breaking then please link me to it and I'll stop right now.

You are a peeping Tom or Pam. I had a neighbor that I peeped on when I was 18. She was about 25 and married.
She had a great shape. I was on the second floor she was first floor. It was a great view. She looked great nude or just in her panties!!

This sounds like the movie Girl on the Train. Not trying to be mean, but it's kinda invading privacy of others. If you want to take up a profession in photography, maybe you take pictures of different things.

Honestly i keep my curtains open when I'm naked because i just don't give a fuck. Ik my body is hot so if someone wants to look then i could care less. They probably feel similarly if they just leave their blinds open. Not normal but who are you harming

However i would discourage you from sending them the pictures, they might think they are being stalked and that would be freaky af.

    • I suppose freaking them out would be the end game.

            • I wouldn't need to see them, just knowing they're freaked out is enough for me.

    • Quick side note: Your right to privacy only extends to the government not invading your privacy.

    • It's not invading privacy if I can see them in plain sight. I don't go over there and open their blinds. I don't break into their house and spy on them. I just take pictures of them from 100ft away when they have their blinds and curtains open.

This is the plot of a movie with a serial killer. The twist is that you aren't the serial killer.
