Is it normal to take your bunny for walks outside
Ive started bringing my indoors bunny outside a little bit. I live in an apartment so he cant be outside much. I decided it would be fun and bring us closer if I started to almost everyday go for walks with him. I bought a carrier which looks like a bag instead of the big, heavy one I have now so it will be easy and safe to carry him with me anywhere and so I can bring him to open areas where there's less people (less stress) and walk him there. I feel like some people would think im a bit silly because im an adult and many people see rabbits as a pet for kids which is not correct as rabbits are not tolerant of how unpredictable kids are. Theres many misconceptions about rabbits. They are very much like cats and dogs in intelligence and extremely much like dogs in terms of need for socialization. Mine gets very sad if I leave the room and dont let him come with me. He sit and licks my arms and hands and even my face for very long time everyday. He is very smart in knowing exactly what to do to get attention and everytime hes mad about being out of food he takes his food bowl and throws it in the cats food bowl like to say "why does HE have food but not ME" and he learns new things easily. Its a bit tricky sometimes because sometimes you have to get creative with bunny proofing but its fun. When I decided to adopt him I knew that bunnies are high maintenance and that they are smart but I could never have predicted what big personality a little bunny could have or how much love. So this is why I wish to give him as good a life as possible and I think it would be nice to bring him with me even outside.
