Is it normal to talk to myself when i’m alone?

Sometimes when I’m alone or about to go to sleep, I have conversations or arguements with myself. I oftentimes catch myself mouthing words to myself and even go as far as to continue on scenarios that I had created from the previous day. Thankfully I haven’t caught myself doing this around other people, and I’m hoping this is just one of those teenage phases that goes away in a year or so.

I talk to my cat. I would feel weird talking to myself.

    Totally normal.
Talking to yourself in the absence of other people is a normal way to solve problems or simulate future or possible scenarios. The whole "talking to yourself makes you a crazy person" honestly reeks of wivestale.

I sometimes get angry or upset and give them a piece of my mind - to myself.

I do end up telling them my opinion, but in a more civilised manner.
