Is it normal to think about self-injury all the time?
I've had issues with self-injury on and off since I was 14 and am 25 now. I only do it maybe 1-4 times per year, and I'm trying to quit, but I have the impulses VERY frequently. Definitely most days, and maybe for a couple hours each day. Honestly the main problem is how time-consuming the thoughts are, as well as the feeling of loneliness because I can't tell people about what's on my mind without them freaking out.
I'm on medication for depression. Is this feeling just something I have to live with?
