Is it normal to think all strangers who are men, creepy?

Is it normal to think random men (attractive or not) are creepy if they approach you/ hit on you? Like if a man approached me and said nice things/ hits on me I automatically think he’s creepy rather than be flattered. It sucks to be a dude, I know, to have courage to approach people and get shot down, but does anyone else find this super creepy now? Is it just me? I don’t get how two strangers randomly meet and end up dating/ fall in love.

Im pretty sure walking up to strangers and immediately hitting on them has a very low success rate.

There’s a creepy way to initiate and a non-creepy way, many only know how to do the former.

Creepy of them if they try to hit on someone like what SmokeEverything has mentioned, creepy if they try to have a conversation with someone they don't know.

Then you say “So do I!”

That really throws them out of whack.

It's impossible for attractive men to be creepy.

  • That's not cool at all, I don't understand how anyone thinks they can just go up to someone and give such a generic compliment and expect some physical reciprocation!

Like it takes more than someone willing to make someone attracted, unless you were hoping they're as deluded as you, in which case you deserve the ire
