Is it normal to think our political system is totally in the toilet?

In an interview Charley Sheen said that if he was asked he would agree in a heartbeat to be Donald Trump's running mate.
Does anybody else feel like I do, that with our current bunch of candidates the political system in the USA is totally in the toilet? Should we just scrap the whole damm system and start over? Maybe just go down to MANPOWER, or LABOR READY and get a bunch of temps to run things. Could it be any worse?

    It's not just the candidates, though I can't think of a candidate from either party that I'd want to vote for. The entire system is badly broken. The federal government simply ignores large portions of the US Constitution whenever it finds them inconvenient. This is a process which has been creeping forward now for several generations.

    I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to politics, but even I can see that our country's become a joke when the guy who's famous for his bad combover and saying "you're fired" now has a serious possibility of becoming our president.

    Charley is a comedian, so if you want to take his word for anything, the joke's on you.
    As for our system, well find me a better one and we'll start from there.

      I still say America needs money, the only way they'll get it is by taking it from China and India, and the only way I see it happening is war.

        How about we just get our rich and their corporations to pay their fair share of their taxes? That's cheaper than a war, and less kids have to die.
