I've seen guys and girls with long hair that shake their head to get their hair out of their eyes and it looks so conceited.

    As someone with a head full of frizzy, difficult to tame hair, it's not arrogant. I like keeping my hair loose and the alternative is either to pull it back in a ponytail or to just shave it off. A ponytail can cause headaches and shaving it off would knock me down several pegs on the looks scale. XD

    Yes, the only reason ones shakes their hair out of their eyes is because they are arrogant. Everyone else loves hair in their face.
