Is it normal to think society would be better if burps and farts were unstoppable?
So I have this theory on burps and farts. I think that if the human body were incapable of preventing burps and farts, that we'd be much better off. Just picture it: If you feel a burp coming on, the body would have no way to prevent it from coming out. If you felt gaseous, can't hold that sucker in. I feel this way benefit society, because we'd be less focused on manners, and could deal with more important issues. If burps and farts were unstoppable, nobody could judge anybody for it because there's nothing you can do. It would just be something that happens normally throughout the day every day. Plus, burps and farts feel really good... Especially farts. Holding them in is uncomfortable, and unwanted. We shouldn't have to worry about that. Anybody else agree?
