I actually believe that all religions and atheists are the same. Because, I think that none of the religions teach people to do bad things. Religions is there to make you a better you right? I hink people are just too self centered. No offense
I kind of see it the same way.
One of the biggest issues with religion is that it is so subject to human interpretation that trying to establish a cohesive and solid ground within any religion usually just causes further division. You have Christians who are generous and peace-loving people and then you have those fucking weirdos who stand outside of the Planned Parenthoods and yell "baby killer!" at teenaged girls. Considering how heavily socialized religious people ARE into their religion and considering that there are people rebelling against religious factions in their areas worlds over, I seriously have a hard time believing that it isn't the human element of religion that fucks the shit up.
It was a concept used to explain nature before we were able to gain enough knowledge of the world to have at least a decent understanding of what is going on around us. Then, some assholes came along and realized that this is a great way to fucking psyche people into doing, feeling or believing things that would benefit whatever goal could be made possible by psyopping groups of people. It's such a common practice even nowadays, not hard to believe that even back then, being able to identify an manipulate people's emotions was coveted skill...

That is the reason I believe one's spirituality should be discover on your own and always keep your mind and heart open the the wisdom every religion can bring.
My fault with religion is organized religion, because more often than not it feels less genuine and more like a bureaucracy. A business, and way to twist and bend the "sheep" to anothers will that disturbs me.
Not saying all organized religion is bad, just people should not just accept the first thing they know as the (pardon the pun) gospel

What exactly would you call the Crusades? Religious sponsored slaughter. How many wars in history were over religion? Most. Norther Ireland is a good example; more than a hundred years of wholesale slaughter in the name of religion.
Each religion teaches that it is the ONLY path to salvation and that tolerance for other religions is a sin.
How exactly does this 'make you a better' ANYTHING?
It's simply the way some people tries to fill the hole in their souls about how things started. I'm Christian, just because my parents told it to me. I just follow the things they do.
Anyways, I'm not in accordance with that. I think that everyone haves to imagine some way to understand the Creationism, and wait until the death to get full knowledge.
All religions are the same. Stupid fairy tales created by man in order to suppress guilt after committing vile, inhumane atrocities. However, due to the stupidity, ignorance and naivety of our pathetic species, most of our misguided and brainwashed population of fools actually believe in all of these silly absurdities, and are willing to molest children, rape women, and smash jet planes into buildings to please their stupid, imaginary little boss in the sky.
Fuck humanity. I hope we all die in EXTREMELY painful ways and suffer for days on end when we inevitably destroy ourselves.
