Is it normal to think that coraline (the movie) is like the creepiest movie?

Okay so Coraline. I never read the book, yes I should and I have tried but it hasn't happened. I know there are differences but this story from what I've seen and partially read, was like MADE to scare kids and adults of all ages.

I first watched it when it was on for Halloween and it was amazingly horrifying. I loved the way it could be soo creepy with it's stop motion animation but my sister who is a little younger than me claims it isn't really that disturbing for her. She's seen horror films and likes them but she doesn't agree the movie is creepy.

My friends that I've asked who are around my age say it creeps them out so what do you think?

Probably not the creepiest ever but I am sure as hell scared of it. It's so awful.

I didn't think it was as creepy as the book. The movie MirrorMask is similar becos Neil Gaiman cowrote it but its live action not animated. I recommend it its a fun movie to watch and it certainly has creepy elements.

Well it's been a while since I watched it, so my memory is fuzzy, sorry. But I do remember thinking it was well-made and that some parts were a bit creepy for a kid's movie. Still nothing to keep you up at night, mind you (I'd probably remember it more clearly if that was the case).

I'm also something of a horror movie junkie though, so nowadays it's kind of difficult for things to impact me as much... Maybe your sister is the same?

(wtf, why are some people so rude? It's not like the movie is that obscure, and 1st result on google will already direct you to the movie's wiki article. So not difficult to find, either... )
