Is it normal to think your dog is staring at ghosts or midgets? or else?

I often see that my dog is staring at something, and he looks very suspicious about it. When I try to look for what he's staring at, almost 95% of the time is just "empty space". I always think he is staring at some rare energies that I can't percieve... actually, sometimes I hear strange noises in my house, and my dog is always alert, staring at something when that happens... sometimes it gets a bit scary, when he appears to be staring at me, but he's clearly not seing me (I know this becouse after a while, he actually sees me, and act like he normally does)

Remember dogs often stare at the location of sounds too.

Say something's moving around outside - the dog may stare at the location of the sound. To us, with our less sensitive ears, there's no sound... or it's minor. But to the dog it's a clear sound. Clear enough they can locate where it is through the wall.

Which is why they appear to be staring at "nothing".

My dog does it all the time. She also starts barking at the toilet in the middle of the night. I often think a ghost comes to my house just to take a dump.

Dogs, cats, very young children and children who suffer from ADHD are known to more prone to visibly see paranormal

1st of all you would be able to see a midget 2nd of all your dog may be more intune to the supernatural although sometimes people and animals like to just stare in space it's not something to be worried about it's really quite normal

Yeah, that is totally normal for dogs and other animals. Their senses are stronger than normal. They are staring at objects that humans wouldn't be able to see. But I heard and seen stuff on TV/internet apparently dogs & cats can sense when humans are about to pass so maybe they're seeing ghosts.

I have heard a lot about dogs being able to perceive paranormal things that humans cannot, although I doubt that it is midgets. You would be able to see the little person too, as they are not invisible!
