Is it normal to try crazy figure skating tricks? i have no training.

I watch a ton of figure skating. I wish I could do those spins. I still can't comprehend how they do a triple axel. I have no training, but I ice skate a lot. I can do a bunch of jumps, and spins. I can get the rotations. But, how they do those double and triple axels? Am I normal, or nuts to try these? I've had no training ever. Anyone hooked on figure skating?

Of course normal. Everyone has to start somewhere. I am sure on youtube or some ice-skating club or organisation has some instructional videos.

Doing what you love can be dangerous, a part of life. If you enjoyed yourself the resulting potential loss should be worth it. My sister lost her coxa skating due to a hereditary condition, my patella are gone. Nature of life, is all about speed and technique if you don't have the technique then yes it could be classified as nuts. Training is expensive however if you are dedicated practice off the ice, do gymnastics, read about it, and study the videos.
