Is it normal to use animal brushes on my hair?

I have unbelievably thick hair. I also had amazingly thick hair when I was a child. It does not matter how long my hair is because no matter what its incredibly thick. Recently I lost my comb and started using the comb I got for my cat but never used on him. It works great, I have no tangles and my hair is neat and shiny. This brush hurts way less than any of the plastic brushes I bought. Its a metal cat comb though. Is it weird to use it for this reason when it works this well?

    • Well he didnt seem interested and I usually give him one of the plastic ones I am not using. Either way his hair is shiny long and super clean. Same with my hair.

My mom, at one point, bought a Curi Comb (Is that how it's spelled?) to use on her hair.

I use a human brush on my dog- no, we don't share it. I see nothing wrong with either case, although your is slightly funnier.
