Is it normal to wake up after a nightmare and feel someone is touching your back?

Freakiest dream last night.
All i remember is waking up from it, feeling like a hand is on my back and i tried to talk, but i couldnt.
It was horrible

    You were awake when you felt the hand on your back? If so then it could have been sleep paralysis. When you sleep your brain will naturally put you in a paralyzed state so you don't move while you sleep. Sleep paralysis happens when your brain doesn't fully register that you are awake and continues to keep you paralyzed. It is most likely to happen if you awaken during the REM stage of sleep which is also the stage of sleep that we dream. It's also fairly common for sleep paralysis to be accompanied by auditory, visual, or tactile hallucinations.

        Most people experience at least once in there life. It's uncommon for it to become a recurring event. If it does become a recurring event though, you should speak to a professional.

          I used to have it when I was under 10, but that was maybe once in a blue moon.
          Last night was the first one in almost 11 years.
          I'm actually heading to bed now, and I'm wondering if I'll have it again because ive been thinking about it all day
