every day, i sit on myspace hoping that i will get a comment, a message, something to prove its alive! I joined Facebook so i could add myspace links! Myspace gives you freedom of expression! i managed to get my best friend to join. One of my dreams is to get myspace to be the new facebook. IIN?
Yeah, I remember when I had a Myspace and it was the shit. But then, people started using Facebook so I made one. I thought it was the most boring shit ever. No creativity, no page designs, no page song, just a blank white page with everything you've done on the website recorded for everyone to see. I really hated how there was no epic "Online Now" feature on Facebook. I deactivated my account and went to Myspace. Well, eventually everybody quit using Myspace, so I reactivated my Facebook page. Everyone I knew was on there, so I started using it. I come back to Myspace later, and they changed a lot of things. It got shittier. Facebook is definately better than Myspace now, but I honestly don't understand how people thought Facebook was safer. That's bullshit! You can make your profile private on both Facebook and Myspace, so only your friends can see your info. But on Facebook it reports EVERYTHING you do on your page! In my opinion that's more dangerous than Myspace! Oh well, Myspace is barely existing now. I'm surprised it hasn't been shut down. I'll still never fully understand how Facebook took down Myspace.

And yeah, I do miss when myspace was hip, but I don't think it's coming back to life. The only people who still use it are advertisers and bands who are just starting out.

Myspace back in 2006 was awesome. Once they started trying to copy Facebook, they went downhill. If myspace were to go back to the way it used to be, I guarantee they would gain more users again. facebook is starting to go downhill now, with this new stupid timeline thing. Myspace's chance for a comeback is now.
I loved myspace I useto have a profile but then it went silent so I deleted it I vowled to never have a Facebook as a punishment to them. Bas- terds!
I don't like Myspace or Facebook. They try to be all-encompassing. When you split down the various components and let other people do them individually, it works out better. Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo for email. Twitter for status updates. Flickr for photos. DeviantArt for art in general. LiveJournal for longer posts and Youtube for video. Individually, I've used all of those (and other sites besides). All I've got on Myspace or Facebook is a few bits and bats.
