Is it normal to want to wake up while asleep and not find my body anymore?

Sometimes when I'm sleeping I notice that I'm in a dream and I'm somehow scared by not feeling my body anymore or floating completely weightless and so I try to get back into my body desperately but can't find it anymore. Sometimes, I can find it, but it's like I try to revive it from the inside, try to fit my mind back into it and it takes a while. Once or twice, something was haunting me, threatening me that I won't find my way back and so I got panicky, shaking my body until my mind is out of a sudden back in place and I wake up in a rush and wonder what just happened.

had accidental sleep paralysis and both accidental and intentional OBEs before, so I'm used to reflecting the state I'm in while sleeping. Astral projection seems very real to me due to this, but mostly my former OBEs were either achieved through specific techniques or drug induced, but didn't occur just randomly like 10 minutes after falling asleep and it's uncommon for me to get scared by it. I guess the fear of not finding my way back is the new factor.

The sub/unconscious mind can do some powerful stuff. It has control over your entire back-house while you are asleep or on the cusp of sleep. Even while awake for some individuals.

It's usually trying to communicate something... and it's kinda up to you to figure out what that is because none of us can be in your head with you.

    Best of luck.
