Is it normal to wear my college roommate's clothes when he is away on break?

I attended a college that was located halfway across the country from where I grew up. Because of the distance and cost for airline tickets, I stayed in the dorms during most of the shorter school breaks, including Thanksgiving.

My college roommate during my Freshman year, on the other hand, only lived a few hours away by car and would drive home for holidays and on other special occasions.

During the Thanksgiving break, I tried on a bunch of his clothes while he was away, as we were similar sizes. I even went to eat dinner across the campus while wearing his designer jeans, jacket, socks, and underwear! When I got back to the room, I took off his clothes and put them back in his closet and dresser drawers. He returned from Thanksgiving break a few days later, but didn't appear to realize that I had worn his clothes while he was gone.

The underwear probably crossed the lines, especially since you didn't wash it before returning it! I certainly hope you didn't leave any skid marks!

You should have asked his permission but I don't see it being a big deal as long as you didn't borrow his underwear!
