I wouldn't say that it is abnormal. I mean if you drink a ton of liquid before bed and you are a deep sleeper then it would happen. Maybe you have a weak bladder wall
Abnormal "deviating from what is normal or usual, typically in a way that is undesirable or worrying."
Wetting the bed falls into this category perfectly. Does it happen, yes. But only because something abnormal is happening inside your body. It could be as serious as cancer, it could be bad DNA gave you weak bladder muscles. Probalby want to have that looked at.
Tell that to kids. Some don't drink for hours before bed and it still happens.
This is a good piont but also most people even if they piss orpoops still generally have a small ampunt in them. As your bodies usually let out enough to release pressure. Which is why most can piss on command.
This depends on a lot of things. I use to have a freind in HS. No one would talk to them as thier was a rumor they had to wear a diaper at age 11. They explained they have pissed themselves but it wasnt on purpose. That becuase of thier medical issue they physically could not help when they peed. Theres also some people who of an age can no longer control it either. So theres a lot of factors.
I haven't wet the bed since I was a kid (it would happen when I drank a whole cup of water before bed) but I do have those nights occasionally where I have to get up every FIVE FUCKING SECONDS to go to the bathroom. And then there's mornings I wake up needing to go but I just don't want to get out of bed, so I hold it in till I can be bothered.
I work as a PA and have seen this often with older patients. May I ask how old you are? Male/female? I have some ideas but I would highly suggest seeing a professional specialist. You can take the first step and visit a general physician who may pass you on to a urologist. 9/10, it’s not as serious as you may think. Some people have an issue with the urethra being thin or “tied” causing a backing of the urine to the bladder. They do have corrective surgery for that as well. If you want my advice, take care of it now because it is most likely fixable, and then you can avoid possible issues in the future
I'm curious. When you wet the bed now, do you completely empty your bladder, or do you stop and wake up just as you start peeing?
It hasnt happen to me in a long time but it happens. And i peed in bed till 12 years old
I have a small bladder. Pissed the bed my whole childhood. Now it only happens when I’m blackout. I ALWAYS keep a mattress protector on. It’s so embarrassing.
