Is it normal to wrangle kittens with a leafblower

I have a little leaf blower in the living room and when the kittens don’t want to go bed I turn it on them towards their room. I just do quick blasts but one time I did full blast towards one for a sec and they got blown backwards across the floor it was kinda funny. is it normal or is that cruel

Genius! Pure genius. You could also try herding them with a Roomba.

That would be adorable and definitely will make you some YouTube money on the side!

          • I do. they have a whole bedroom to their selves with a king size duvet spread on the floor, and their litter box is emaculate.

    • Nah they sleep on me while purring. I let them climb up my legs and they even go all the way up to my shoulders while i prepare their food though. my legs are covered in their scratches, feels good man. i hope the scratches get infected too

  • It’s mean since a kitten isn’t going to be able to fight against a leaf blower, and it’s stupid to turn one on in your house.

I mean that's one way of doing it. Definitely get some points on creativity. Doubt you are actually hurting the cats unless you blow them down an incline.

Air blowing on the ears is painful to cats...that's why they're so scared of hair dryers :(

A leaf blower wouldn't hurt you either but I doubt you want someone blasting you with one.

Hell what hes doing is probably having a pavlovian effect on them. To associate the leaf blower with going to bed. A couple more months of this will probably get them to go to bed just by seeing the blower.

Maybe, or maybe the pavlovian affect will be associated towards their leaf blowing companion, and they will act out aggressively towards them.

Depends if they actually hate it. If I was a kid and a giant gust of wind was the sign to go to bed I would actually be pretty neutral about it.

Our dogs were abandoned by Italians in the countryside somewhere near where we used to live. I have no idea what sort of life they had before finding us, but they cower and run away every time we have a broom in our hands.

            • Same with these kittens’ mother, who was a rescue. She growls and hisses at the sight of a broom, but maybe that’s a normal cat thing

Hilarious and genius at the same time. As long as you be careful with those little things.

    This sounds like bullshit.

When kittens are in involved we should ask ourselves what would an Ancient Egyptian do?

I did once behold a terrifying vision of a leaf blower, the tale is true, and if you're good I just might tell you.

    • Ancient Egyptian wouldn't have to worry about keeping the cats away from safety hazards around the house while trying to sleep! 𓃠

Touché! ... but a leaf blower?

        • I used to just chase them with a pompom but they got used to that. It’s a lightweight electric blower, Japanese made, nothing too scary. Not much louder than a vacuum cleaner

Why is there a leaf blower in your living room? Isn't that an outside tool? Or are you using it for some other pervie reason?

    • Wait..what kind of pervie use does a leaf blower have? 0.0
But nah I brought it in like last month to charge the battery and didn’t feel like putting it back in the garage since then

Purvy reason you say? I once say saw a porno where a women hooked up a leaf blower with a funnel and inflated her ass a bunch before farting all over a bound and gagged guys face. Femdom at its finest.

Well I cant speak for the author but if I find a tool for cheap and works completely well even if I dont need it I buy it than sell it a month later for a higher price.

I can just imagine the howls of outrage if you posted a YouTube video of this.

As long as you aren't blowing the kittens across the floor so hard that they get smashed into things, I'm sure it's not going to do them any harm. It's not like feral cats and kittens hunker down and cower in holes every time the wind blows.

    • Thank you! People think everything is animal abuse these days. But they will gladly buy a cat just to stick it in a tiny apartment room all day long and make it obese.

Not to mention having it mutilated by surgical removal of its claws, thus making it almost completely defenceless and disabling an important part of its escape capabilities should it ever end up out in the big, bad world.
