Is it normal to yell out "careful" to oblivious women on smart phones?

On my way to work I sometimes jaywalk after assessing traffic in both directions. Often a bunch of people, mostly younger women, will blindly follow my cue and start crossing without taking their eyes off their phone. I don't want to be responsible for getting someone killed so I yell out some kind of warning if I see them doing this.

Yeah, that's good of you, but if they have a mishap due to not paying attention it wouldn't be your fault by any means.

Same. The cops around here usually dont enforce it though.

I like watching people who walk like that, just in case they run into a pole.
    So far no results.

Why the fuck would you be responsible?
Natural selection. Let them get fucked.

Yeah it's normal. It's not like you're trying to harass them or get in their pants, you're just looking out for them so they don't end up being hit by a car. I'd suggest not jaywalking though if it's more than two roads going opposite directions.

it's still a cry for attention

    thats a weakness

coupled with the mildly threatening nature it's a miracle you don't get shot on the street
