Is it normal when you say you got a virus people assume its from porn?

I do not understand this. Even people who are supposedly good at computers assume you must be on a porn site? Are people really this stupid that they assume everyone is as big a pervert as they are?

Why does the universe assume everyone has loads of naked chicks screwing saved somewhere on the hard drive? I mean even on here. People say "You were watching porn!"

I mean what if they were talking to a woman? Some people are religious. Some religions are against porn and masturbation. Statistically its less likely for women to watch porn. Yet people assume every single person are watching it? Are people this stupid?

    They used to come from sex... this future is weird.

    I think it's just the culture now; porn is ubiquitous and a lot more acceptable than it used to be. So because it's crossed from taboo to being more mainstream, I think that's why people like to make these assumptions - and because they look at it themselves.

    I used to visit a lot of exercise blogs and eating healthy sites. All of which contained tons of ads and pop-up viruses.

      Never said porn was bad. I just think its ridiculous that people assume everyone else is watching it. Its like assuming "Im atheist so everyone must agree", "Im christian so everyone must be", "Im straight so gay people must not exist!"

      If people watch porn whatever. Long as its not child porn. Since children cant consent to it. Its also rude to assume im a pervert without knowing anything about me. I mean I don't go around assuming every girl and guy caught an STD because they are sluts and whores. Its the same thing.

    I don't think any has every accused me of this. Then again, I don't think that I ever told anyone about computer viruses. I may have mentioned being hacked, but nothing more from what I can remember.

      Bird flu is spread through contact or ingestion of infected birds. Not necessarily having sex with a chicken,goose,duck and whatever other type of bird they have.

      Viruses actually exist on most websites. Apparently they put them on kid sites a lot as well. Something I didn't realize and I always went to kid sites like CN since they have little browser games you can just play for hours.
