Is it normal yoga is an excuse to make women get in suggestive positions?

so my sister started doing yoga and she was basically on all fours sticking her butt out. i asked her "wtf are you doing? who told you to do this?" she told me her yoga instructor. so i went down to the yoga place and (of course) her instructor was a man and ALL the women there had their asses in the air. he gave me a bunch of BS about how it's for inner peace and energy crap. i say it's just a guy's dream of having a bunch of women getting in suggestive poses. he even touches them too, saying that they're not in the right pose and adjusts them. it looked way creepy, like he was RIGHT behind a woman and bumping his crotch right into her butt. i wanna tell my sister that she's not allowed to go there anymore, but i know i cant control her and that if i tell her not to go, she'll just go. what should i do?

    Not everyone is a sex starved idiot. It is possible to look at a human body and not think about sex. You really should work on your ignorance levels.

      I liked this. It use to really bother me at gymnastic or dance events and someone would compliment my outfit or costume and I'd think they like it for whatever reason probly sparkles cos I like them and pick stuff like that alot. but then they say oh it makes your butt look really good. And then I felt bad like it was just about drooling on me.

    Lol wow never looked at it like that. To a certain extent you're probably right. I don't think half the people who take yoga classes have any clue what it's actually about. I'm not even going to attempt to explain because it's not an area of expertise but I do know that yoga is a general term, that to the Indian it is more than exercise, and like everything else Americans have "borrowed", we exploited it.

    obviously, the instructor - just like anyone else - isn't exempt from the possibility that he's perverted; he could be totally butchering yoga and forcing these women to comply with his sexual fantasies and, if he's doing this, then he's wrong. but also, yoga itself isn't about making anyone do anything sexual with their body. it IS inherently about good energy and inner peace, and he could totally believe that and that could be the only thing he has on his mind. it's kinda a toss-up; i'm not saying your thought isn't a possibility but also, it could just be people teaching yoga for yoga's sake.

    the instructor is just a pervert! he doesn't have to touch them! Any way i guess we may even be wrong here, but mostly i think hes a pervert! just tell her whats on your mind, its not like you are jeti or something, you just cant control people even if its for their own good!

    so i went back to the yoga place and talked to some of the girls there, i told them i was a yoga instructor and suddenly they were hanging on my every word. i even tricked them into letting me go to their house to give a "private naked yoga lesson" needless to say i made love to them and they just thought it was part of a yoga lesson. this is very concerning because now anyone could say they're a yoga instructor to my sister and she'd probably believe them and do anything they say. this is why i dont want her doing yoga

    I take a kickboxing class and the last 10 minutes we stretch and do yoga positions and all the girls wear spandex ....And Im the only guy ever..even though the class is open to guys none evr take it but me..and its not gay either ..its hard kicking and punching...

    But yoga is a great form of exercise..keeps you limber

      i would rather a girl do real actual exercise rather than just stay in sexual positions for 5 minutes at a time or whatever
