I don't think this for everyone, But the way I see people talk so passionately about a football player. Do they fantasize about tackling a burly man? One of my friends who recently came out was always very fond of sports involving men. He wasn't someone who wore a jersey all the time, but he did always mention things about the teams. Mostly his high school football team. And why would anyone else like football except for the reason that there is a man with a ball being chased by other men and he will be covered in men.

I think it's pathetic and I truly believe that a major portion of sports fans are closeted homosexuals. I don't think it's wrong, but why hide behind such a pointless blood sport?

    I think our society went crazy over gay hunt lately. People chose to play sports for health, for competition for the fun of it, and for wanting being a part of community. Some people play sports, other play cards, or maybe play an instrument. Some do it all... Being gay doesn't mean you like sports. In fact it doesn't define a human being in any way besides them being physically and sexually attracted to the same sex. You wouldn't think that the sun is gay just because it is shining in gold, right?

    Dude you need to start watching football. Its not gay like you think it is. Its men fighting over yardage on a field. If football was gay they wouldn't be as rough. They would just worry about broken fingernails instead of broken bones concussions torn acls and the list goes on. These guys go all out with all these risks. That's not gay at all.
