Is it normal to be in love with the same teacher for 2years? i am just going to call him 'x' on this. but whenever i see him, i would blush instantly. I think im obsessed with him. but the question which keeps bugging me, is if its normal of me to be in love with him for nearly more than 2years?
that all depends on ... how old you are and if this is a high school or college teacher.
if it's a high school teacher then most likely it's just a strong crush that will fade when you meet mature boys or girls in college.
if you're in college then perhaps it's something worth checking out... once you're no longer his student. because in college you can date teachers... they just can't be YOUR teachers
remember - no good teacher will risk his job just to date his student.

Feelings are different for everybody...so for you...it's normal...the fact that this feeling has lasted this long means it is real for you
If you're a girl in an all girls school, than yes. You're just a victim of the 'cannibal effect'; that's when something is so low in demand (like for instance men) you'll go for the closet thing possible, deluding your self that it's more than ideal.
P.S I'm sure there's a proper name for the 'cannibal effect', that name just sounds stupid.
The different pieces of the brain mature at different rates. The part of the brain that controls emotions is fully matured by age 13. The part that controls logic matures around ages 18-21. Sometimes later in men, my wife says.
I believe your feelings are real and that you truly are in love with the man. However, you are not exercising the logic over the emotion that says a relationship is not appropriate, so abandon all hope move on, and find a nice boy my own age.
There are plenty of nice boys who would give their left arm to meet you if you are a nice girl. Most of them are just to afraid to walk up to you and say, "Hello!"
Pick a cute, nice boy, walk up to him, and invite him to dinner. You will forget about your teacher real fast.
