In games, why don't animals eat you after killing you?
After they kill you, they just walk away... seems unrealistic. Why would they attack you in the first place?

They do eat you in a few games. Mostly people don't like it when they die and hate it when something rubs it in. Like that damn dog on duck hunt.
After dying in a game, it quickly returns to allowing the player to do things.
It is not popular game design to wait for a long animation to play after every death
It's a game. Not real life. It's fun when you get attacked. Besides, animals don't just attack you for food. They might feel threatened.
