In the park last sunday iin?

I've got two pugs, little black boys Oscar and Del Le Renta and my day to walk them is Sunday.
My other half takes them out Saturday or sometimes we all go together. It's a large park near my home with an avenue of trees leading down to the gates.
The dogs love it because I can take their harnesses off and they sniff around and chase each other, anyhow last Sunday I'm sitting on the park bench watching them when all of sudden a man with a husky sits next to me.
"Are they your pugs?" he says. "Yes" I say and politely go to my dogs with the harnesses. I am scared of other dogs near my dogs if they are a lot bigger, then I feel his presence behind me and he continues talking as we walk.
"I've seen you here lots" he says. I am shocked I have never seen him and it's not a busy park also "are they your pugs?" he would know this, then I thought he must be in the trees I have never seen him.
I don't know if I'm overreacting but I think I should not go anymore. IIN?

Geez that's kinda creepy. I thought of any other possibilities but his statement: "I've seen you here lots" and you didn't notice him and its not a busy park; thaaat made him like a stalker don't you think? are you a girl or a boy?

Not sure of it is normal. Could be he is just friendly and wanted a play buddies for his dog. BUT if it made you uncomfortable you need to listen to that. Your subconscious picks up on things that your conscious brain doesn't. People try to ignore these feelings not good. They are there for a reason.

seems kind a creepy, trust your instincts and pick a different walking schedule.

Most dog owners see each other daily. Chatting to other dog owners was one of many nice things about having a dog. If I only ever saw a dog owner on a Sunday, though, I'd assume they were a dog walker rather than the owner. That'd explain the "Are they your pugs?" question. As for "I've seen you here lots", I agree with jellytot. It's a chat-up line. Although not a very good one.

It sounds like he's interested in you. Either that or he's just trying to be friendly but coming off in a creepy way, or he really is one of those people that you wish you never would've crossed paths with. I think you should have your guard up. Make sure someone else is with you next time you go.

I'd only go with my bf in future and if you do manage to see him, make sure he sees you pointing him out to your bf.

I agree he sounds like a creep. Scary!
