In which direction do you wipe?

I'm intrigued by this. I always assumed that front to back (meaning wiping away from your genitals and towards your back) was the correct way of wiping and how everyone did it, but it's come to my attention that a portion of men actually wipe back to front. This sounds really weird to me (and uncomfortable) but then again wiping that way is unthinkable to me as a woman.

So tell me: which gender are you and in which direction do you wipe?
