Inn for your personality to change based on the music you listening to

Music can obviously affect our mood, that's what it's for! Even if it's to affect our mood to buy particular music.

I don't think it affects our personality as such, it's more that we choose music which reflects and possibly emphasises it.

I guess to a very limited extent, if I'm listening to something calm and relaxing like bon iver or sun kil moon I'll be the sort of person who lounges about but something more upbeat like built to spill will often make me more energetic and outgoing, whereas something heavy or aggressive like death grips will just make me want to move and jog

Moods of songs never affects me though, I can be just as happy listening to Radiohead and the smiths as I am happy upbeat music

No, my personality is based on more than just outer influences. Those things affect my mood, but not how I react or interact with things. My fundamental core is based on more than that.
