Inn i"m not scared of death, but i'm scared of after i die?

I am religious and believe that when people die they go to heaven. But i'm scared. What if there is no heaven or hell? What if there is nothing? What if everyone completely disappears when they die? What if there will never be another chance to live after death?I feel a pit in the bottom of my chest form when ever I think of what will happen after I die. Can anyone reassure me that we will live after death?

    No one can assure you of anything. I think these are rational fears....however if there happens to be nothing after you die then you wont be worrying then will you?
    I personally think there is something after you die and that your soul will live on.

    But there is nothing you can do about ether situation if thete is something or if there is not.

    My fear is of being forgotten and I believe that to gain immortality it is not to try to stay alive for ever but to live in the memories of future people.
    I was always fascinated by people like van Gogh and such because they had gained immortality. So maybe thats why im an artist si that I will not be forgotten once I am gone.

    What im saying is no one knows for sure so try to make tye best of what you have here... by creating things, being kind, and living life

    U dont blink out of exsistance dont worry u just end up rotting in ur grave for many years to come so everything will be a ok

    The perfect answer to all your 'what if's' is to enjoy this life to the utmost and not waste a second of it thinking of what might (or might not) be next.
    Heaven and hell are metaphors, used by the church to control the weak minded masses, just like the boogie man was used by parents for centuries to keep children in line.
    If space is indeed infinite, then where is this heaven, where is this hell? We know there is a planet below us with a molten core where nothing could exist and how could heaven be beyond infinite? Nope, have no fear, you will never go to either.

    About all anyone can guarantee is the peaceful light of a near death experience. If there is nothing after that, so what? You had your fun while you were alive. You loved, you fucked, you made your children safe and happy, maybe even contributed to technology that will ultimately spread life throughout the Galaxy.
