my family is white trash. They are proud of it. They all live off scamming people and government aid.They enjoy getting in physical fights and arguing. When I lived at home they would answer my cell phone and text my boss and friends dirty crap on my phone to be funny. They say I need to get a sense of humor ,go with the flow and not care if people think I am an idiot.I have gone to extremes to be a classy well read person and I hate being embarrassed all the time.

They go to restaurants order food and beg the person behind them to pay for it even though they have money to pay for it.Then they brag about it to everyone.Yesterday they came to my art gallery opening.

They weren't invited, because every time I invite them they break something or do something terrible happens and the cops get called and I get blamed for their bad behavior. They left their bratty kid at the opening and he almost got hit by a car. He was running around nude at my art show. Their were tons of rich people and upper middle class people buying my artwork and they must think I am a bad person now. People think I did this as a publicity stunt.I was seriously thinking of killing myself because everyone must hate me.

I do feel bad for the kid he acts really bad and slow because they are crappy parents. They couldn't remember where they parked their van.I hope they don't get rid of my show because of how stupid they acted.

    I'd normally say cut your family slack, but the level at the things they're embarrassing you on... begging for food when they have money, saying inappropriate things on purpose to a boss, humiliating you in front of clients at the art show. I'm sorry for what they put you through. Yes, it's normal to be embarrassed!

    I'd disown that family once I was old and financially stable enough, that's what I'd do.

    Blood doesn't necessarily make you family. If your family really are THAT bad that it's really ruining your life, you are better off without them.

    I think your parent just doesn't wanna be slave workers under the current government, etc. Hating them isn't the right thing to do, after all they give you life and feed you (maybe love you also, just they are not good talker)

    You gave rich or middle class people too much credits. They are as shitty as your parent (just you don't understand it yet)
