Inn that i act out my dreams on accident

I daydream most of the day, spending hours doing it. I don't mean to but it happens, I live in them. Books, music, stories, movies, etc will trigger it. Now I can't help but to move, make faces, reactions, snap fingers, rock back and forth, twirl fingers, shake my head, etc while I'm daydreaming. Half the time I don't know I'm doing it and can't help to stop. Is it normal or bad (Don't have autism)

I used to be a space cadet too. I guess it's a coping mechanism to escape from life, and make this mundane existence more bearable, but it's also a good way to waste a lot of time.
