Do you guys find this weird? I'm a 29yr old female who's husbands in jail. I cannot sleep of a night unless i have a piece of his clothing that has his scent on. I use this as my blanky & rub it against my cheek whilst smelling it & sucking my thumb, INN for me as an adult to do this? & do you think i'm weird?? **Please No Nasty Comments** Thanks Guys :)

Sounds like you enjoy regressing into a childlike state, which can be comforting for some people.

        Do you have depression? :/

It's certainly not normal to cry yourself to sleep every night. Has your husband only recently been incarcerated?

I think the thumb sucking a bit beyond normal, but every woman I've known has a favorite shirt or other item of her man's clothing which she can wear or smell, when he's away. That's totally normal, IMO.

I find it cute. But then again I might be slightly biased because I do it too.

That's what happens when one's a cookie whore.

The blanket is passable, but the thumb sucking isn't.

    For what is he incarcerated?

If I were you I probably get a dog or something. To be honest I'm not the type to wait for someone like that.

My second ex husband was probably an alcoholic. I divorced him after about 3 months, because after I lost my job I discovered he was spending his days getting drunk, playing video games all day and sleeping. There was a fairly extensive history of addiction and instability in his family, but thought he was different and didn't pay attention to the red flags all around me.

P.S. Most criminal people claim to be innocent.

  • Yes i have it quite badly & no he's been away 2yrs now. I don't get to see him that often but when i do it effects me badly. I hate to walk out that visits hall & leave him :( . The thing is..He got a really long time for something he didn't do & i'm finding it hard to cope without him.
