Unintelligent people just annoy me. For example, at work we are required to ask clients how many siblings they have. The conversation went as follows:
"So, Mr. Beux, how many siblings do you have?"
"Wait...does that mean wives?"
"No, it means brothers or sisters."
"...I never married my sister..."
Is it normal? Am I too rude/stuck up?

I guess we expect other people to be as smart as we are, and when they aren't we are disappointed. The trouble is there are always going to be people smarter than you and they will feel annoyed by your stupidity too.
It would be great if everybody could practice some patience and understanding.
Well now based on the way you chose to not capitalize the first letter in your topic but Every Other Word I would say you fall into the same category of those which you despise. Thank you for the irony.
Actually, I technically did capitolize the first letter, if you count the acronym for 'Is it Normal.' And you're quite welcome. :)
And a few grammatical mistakes doesn't make me as stupid as the man referred to in the post; may I add that you're missing a comma in your comment.
Haha! Your post made me laugh. But yeah, its completely normal to be irritated by stupid people. Sometimes I find them funny though.
