Intel processor id utility error

Hi guys,

I just swapped out a ATI Radeon GPU with a Intel Core Duo on my Dell D820. The Utility shows big slowdown from teh "Expected" speed 1.66 ghz to a "REPORTED" speed of 0.21ghz. I updated the BIOS but no avail. What's happening?

    Not very clear

    You swapped out a ATI GPU= Graphics Card for a Intel Core Duo= CPU

    Graphics cards and CPU's are not interchangeable, not even in the slightest.

    Please clarify your problem. Model numbers of parts and board would help.

    Have you made sure that the utility takes into account multiple cores, and that no other programs (or viruses!) are hogging CPU time while you're measuring it?

    Are you sure there's not something wrong with the processor itself? Maybe you should test it in another computer if possible.
