Internet relationships

Do you think having a relationship over the internet is normal? We met on an online forum, I ended up getting his MSN. Now, it's almost a year later and we've both realised how much we're in love. Is it normal? And, at the very least, do you think it can work out?

The internet is dangerous. Indeed this could be genuine, there are many dangers. First, have a webcam chat, this will verify his identity, and therefore his age. Then meet, in a public location. Try not to get too attached, until you verify his identity.

    Wishing you luck :)

I met a woman on the net and she came to my town and we had great sex. Never discount the power of the internet. Had a guy off me a blowjob too. Guess where he was from. IIN. I would have let him too but he weighed 300 lbs. Too fat.

I think it's great that people can do it. But I don't think it would work out for me.

Me and my boyfriend live millions of miles apart and we met over strangerchat. We love each other and want to get married. So yes, very normal. Just be cautious about it.

Be careful about thinking you live him before you've actually met. Physical attraction and chemistry are a huge part of real life relationships.

No it's good, you learn the personality first and then meet that person but bring someone with you. Just as long as you don't get married on World of Warcraft.

I know many people that have gotten married from meeting someone off of eharmony.com and other websites like that. But that is what the internet is for, to meet somebody on, not fall in love. You can't fall in love on the internet. What and how a person writes is only about 1/10 of a persons personality.

I mean if you feel that he's not a threat known him for awhile maybe did a little background check lol then you should be good i mean if he's truely the "ONE" i mean bestfriend, butterflys in your stomach, can't stop thinking about him, can't sleep at night, need to call/txt him even when im in the shower (lmao) kinda guy then ya go for it. If yall meet up someday its always good to do it in a public place and make sure you got them back up friends because you neeeeever know... just in case he might get Oj simpson on you. But ya synopsis is right there is some weird mofos out there but then again theres weird mofos everywhere anyone could be a killer or rapist it could be a next door neighborhood so ya you neva know...can't be all that bad i mean Dr. Phil promotes that E harmony crap all god damn day long lol anyways good luck on your computer love! :)

    I agree with Synopsis,
and you should take it further if you feel strongly, but if it's just you like them but also like other guys who live near you then I don't recommend it.
