Introvert vs extrovert

My parents say I'm an ambivert. Where is that option?

I love being around people but I also enjoy alone time as i can get a lot of work done with just my music and me.

I'd say about 80% introverted, but too much time alone and I become the worst attention seeking bastard imaginable. I'm not socialising too badly right now, certainly better than I was this time last year.

this depends on who I am around at the time. If i am around my true friends or people i generally like being around with because they are nice to be with then I would say I like to be an extrovert. But only for a short period of time, maybe around 4-5 hours max and then I would want to spend another 4-5 hours on my own.

I think I am more of an introvert.

I'm introverted and love being alone. About 15% of the time though, I feel the need to talk to someone or I feel a it lonely. And I definitely enjoy spending time socialising, it just drains me a bit. Which isn't as bad as it sounds.

Introverted doesn't always equal shy btw, and extroverted doesn't always mean the person is confident either. I'm a confident person half of the time, and I'm introverted.

Can't really say I'm a real extrovert.It just depends of the people around me.Mostly,I am the true meaning of an introvert.

honestly I don't know, I like to have lots of alone time. but I only truely feel happy with my friends or famely around. and I can (if some one breacks the ice first) be quite a chatterbox.
but if the people i'm with are very shy, i get shy too, and i preffer to be with extroverted people...

Naturally I'm introverted, but at school I'm pushed into situations where I have to be extroverted.

With my friends I'm pretty extroverted too, but only about things I have an opinion on; otherwise I just keep quiet.

It's like saying:social or antisocial? Dh! We are all socially selective! We can't hang out and get along with pretty much anybody can we? Is it him being too introverted or it is the other guy being too extroverted?it's bullshit! I known people who were thought to be introverted changing overnight and becoming extroverted because they found the right bunch of people. It's hogwash that's what it is! Is it him being a prick and pushing people away or it's people he stumbles upon being too picky? Maybe he is introverted because everytime he opened up he ended up getting fucked! Or ridiculed. Or jerked around or used and so forth.
