Irrational fears?

I don't really know how to describe this fear, but I suppose I'm afraid of...large things.

When I was little, I used to go to an IMAX theater in LA where they would show the hundreds and hundreds of speakers behind the giant screen--and that would always scare the crap out of me. I'm terrified of blimps and pictures of large sunken ships. [The images of Titanic and of the sunken ship memorial in Pearl Harbor makes me shudder.]

Most people have phobias, and usually phobias are irrational. Yours may be less heard of, but theres probably many people who experience the same fears. Its important to learn how to cope with these fears before they get worse, you dont want your phobias to prevent you from living your life.

I guess I'm sort of afraid of large things as well, when I'm close to a large building, I suddenly get nervous and I can't look up at a very high ceiling. Something about how small it makes me feel has scared me since I was little.

there's a reason it's called a phobia, it IS meant to be irrational.
