It depends. I am 49 years old, so to me 33 years old is young. However, when I was in my teens, and or early twenties I would not have considered 33 to be young at all. It all depends on your point of view.

          • Well if it was looks 20 would be a compliment. But all we have to go by is maturity... yea that's a kick in the balls.

50 her shit is just about to end. Sucks to be them.

I've been called middle aged and an old bag. I'm 34.

Jokes on them, I felt old before they butted in, anyway. Hah.

No, but under 21 is legitimately consider a kid which you may be and to kids everyone older than them is old. Today life expectancy is 90 + and 30 isn't even half the age. I am sure there are 50, 60 year olds who are more active than lazy modern day kids who have no real life and just lives through the internet and whatever technological devices they have (which by the way are contributions of older people from making them to buying them for those jobless kids), such lazy behavior are associated with 90 + year olds who are too weak to get out of bed, so modern day kids under 21 kids are more like old people than youths (21 to 39) and and middle aged (40-69) year old people.

33 is still young dude. I wouldn't be surprised if you were still in a reasonable range of being at your peak fitness.

I’m 35. I feel such a generation gap already with people 18 - 22 that when referring to them and their youth people say but you’re not old but they just make me feel that way

Career wise, mid-thirties is young enough to learn and position yourself for your peak productivity years in your early to late forties. That's when salary as well as expectations hit lifetime maximums. When you become so old that only Home Depot will hire you, you'll know you are past it.

It depends on what you're trying to do. If you're trying to run for the president of the United States, you are too young. If you are trying to audition for the Verona Wildcats cheerleading team, you're too old.

I don't think so. Also, people all age differently, and I've known some very fit and young-at-heart 60+ year-olds, who didn't seem "old" at all to me and could outwork teenagers and 20-somethings. At 33, most people are still pretty young and healthy.

From a physical standpoint you are still young. You are still somewhat in your prime athletically. You could get in good shape.

33! You're just getting started. By now you know who you are and what you want to do without youth messing with your thoughts. When you get into your 70's and 80's then your getting older. But in the end age is but a number.

Technically 33 is middle age for men. 60+ being within natural death age

Yeah, 33 is really an advanced age. You might want to make the most of the years you have left.

look at it this way, in the 1850's you'd be on average only 5 or so years away from the end of your life.

I'll turnn 32 this year so I'll say no. I don't feel old and I don't look old and I don't think that 33 is old.

It seems really young to me, but then I'm old

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Probably not, seeing as most 33 year olds in the USA are still living in their parents’ house.
