Is " imagine dragons " really rock-music?

Rock stations play them constantly, but I just don't see how they could even remotely be considered " rock-music ".

They're rock 4
They're not rock 14

I would describe them as pop rock.

    Edit:

Google classifies them as "Alternative" music, which basically means they don't ascribe to any particular genre.

There's a Reddit post that goes into detail about each song's genre, and they create a mixture of Pop music and Pop Rock music. With a handful of indie rock and synth pop songs.

Not really if I'm being honest though I'm not much of an ID fan.

I don't think so, they are pop or something else. I only like the song "Radioactive" others I don't. My favorite band from today is 3 doors down my favorite old band is Metallica and my favorite even older band is the Eagles. Despite being only 28 years old I know alot of 70s and 80s bands and in my opinion imagine dragons aren't as good I compare them with Depeche Mode and they stomp a hole in imagine dragons

ABSOLUTELY not. They are basic commercial pop music. Not even interesting, good pop but the really boring, polished kind...

I don't consider them rock. Same with Twenty One Pilots
