Is 30m + 23f appropriate?
I have been dating this girl for a couple of weeks and it is going well, actually very well. She is however only 23 and I am 30. I am feeling a bit uneasy over the age difference.
What’s your opinion?

Yeah i'd say so. Though I believe to a degree that if it makes you feel uneasy you should follow that instinct.
Only you know her and how mature and experienced she is.
Even if I were 80 id still probably screw an 18yo chic honestly. But maybe ill feel different about it at 80.
If it was 80 year old woman and 18 year old man no one would complain, but when its the other way around people complains. 25 year old Ahlamalik Williams dated 60+ year old Madonna in 2019, in fact shes been dating younger men for a long while, no one complains, but when 45 year old Leonardo DiCaprio dates younger 18+ adult women, people complains. Thats a social double standard. Either ways, if you are 18+ legally adult, regardless of your gender I believe you can date anyone you want be your partner 18 or even 80.
“If it was 80 year old woman and 18 year old man no one would complain”
People would find that EXTREMELY weird. That is the complete opposite of the real world.
On the other hand, 18 year old women marry old rich men all the time to get their money. People just say gold digger and don’t bat an eye.
Yeah but fuck what they say. If ppl think its too young then they should change the law. If not its fair game and legal their opinion means nothing. They can have fun fuckin a 55 year old woman when your having a 18 year old. They're prolly jealous
Half the guy's age plus 7. So, 15+7. 22. You're 23. It's fine. I got that off of Parks and Recreation. My husband is 7 years older than me and it has been great. Guys mature slower than women anyway, plus, he probably already has a good start on life
It's alright since you're both adults capable of making your own decisions.
As long as you're both happy - the age gap doesn't matter!
Standard rule is "half your age plus 7". Since you're 30, you'd be good dating anyone 22 or older, so you're fine.
My man is 3 years younger than me. It only bothered me at first. I don’t even think about it anymore. Give it time.
You're at different life stages and probably maturity levels. It likely won't last but if you want to pursue this, go ahead.
