Is it normal to feel old at 23? I still look good but I feel bitter about my age. I've noticed that most people on the internet are age 16-20 and it makes me feel a bit insecure. I've heard twenty year olds say that they wouldn't date 24 year olds, which is what I will be next year. Is being 23 really that bad to some people?

23? 25 is awesome and 27 and 28 are pretty fabulous as well. I didn't like 32 much, and 33...I expect it to great! I only feel old when my pop culture references get missed.
I think it's fine to feel old, as you are realizing you're not a kid "as young as you once were" and that realization can be quite a shocker! I'll be 27 in a few months, and all I can think of is "in another 27 years I'll be 54..." and that right there makes me feel 'old' because of how quickly these 27 years have passed by. life really is short! You gotta keep a young-set mind and live each day like there's no tomorrow!

Get out, find fun stuff to do. Age is what you make it. I can complain and sound like my grandparents or find life. I found life.

Also: there are some people on INN in their 30s and 40s so you certainly are a young pup at 23.
what kind of retards do you hang around with to say things like that to you? and no, most people on the internet are not 16-20 year olds. its probably just the chat sites or networking sites you are on where that age is abundant. try going out of the house and actually meeting people face to face.

Well.. you don't have anything age relevant to look forward to anymore, and it seems to be starting to get to you. 23 isn't old and you actually know it, you miserable old fool. You should've realized this yourself and not asked people what they think. However, it will of course feel old if you only hang out with younger people.
i'm 23 this july and i feel oldddddd lol no, really....and when i see a cute guy and he's like 19 or something, i feel really, really old lol sometimes, i sit n wonder, wow...im gonna be 23...19 20 21 22 went by real fast...i wanna go baaackkk!!! lol

You're still a puppy. Regarding people using the internet being age 16 - 20 I have 4 kids twice as old as you! Age is merely a state of mind. Accept age changes with curiosity and adventure.
It depends on what sites you're looking at. I'm 23, and I know I'm young, and I'm not one of those people who think you're as young as you feel. You're seriously being crazy to think you're old at 23.
To all you young whipper-snappers out there. In your teens, twenty's, even thirties you are Spring Chickens. Go out and have yourself some fun in life, you are young, enjoy yourself. I would like to make a personal comment to 'Knitpicky,' I know how she is starting too feel, because I am 54, and the years sure did fly by, thought I would never be this age, so hey, relax, enjoy life and do not think about age.

23 is not old. I do rated age reports on clients as part of my occupation, I had a woman today who was 75 and her rated age was an additional 12.2 years. If your age is less than your rated age life expectancy; you're not old. Ie-- You're 23 and (I don't have your statistics so this is estimated) your rated life expectancy is 83; thus you have a rated life expectancy of an additional 60 years. 60 is more than 23 = you're not old.
