They're often used interchangeably. However, I generally here the word "ghost" used in the context of hauntings more often than I hear the word "spirit".

there is no such things as ghosts only spirits. angels. and demons. if u see something floating. or whqtever or have been pushed. or u here things. and u know for a fact theres one near u. its a demon. angels dont show themselbes like that. if they want to show themselves its different. u would feel calm and peace about yourself.

I thought they were the same thing. I thought a ghost was a spirit that was unable to cross over. A protrugiest is a spirit that has become evil and creates haunting.

Ghost is more a negative word for a spirit. Holy people who have a positive look to spirits call it a 'Spirit' and people who fear spirits call them 'Ghosts'

I can see them but you know, there more good spirits. So i think when i say 'ghosts' its kinda offending. Because u actually there not so bad. But everything what is not common is scary right hahaha.

Brilliant question. I've always wondered that as well. Be nice if someone could tell us the difference. xx
