Is anyone else afraid of hornets and wasps
I'm asking this because I'm the only one I know who goes bat shit insane just to get away from them. Not only do I hate them, I had a couple of scary encounters with them.
First is when I was a child. I was sleeping and heard a strange buzzing noise. I covered myself up with my blanket and yelled my mother to come into my room. I then told her that something is in it. She laughed and said it was a fly, I didn't believe her. However, with a close view, my mom told me "That isn't a fly. That's a big hornet. I got scared, but luckily she killed it.
Next was three years ago. I have finished high school that day and came home. I always get scared about the front patio due to how narrow, and how easily bugs get in. I quickly went through the porch, unlocked the door, and went in. I was emptying my lunch bag when I say something strange beside the sink. I got closer and realized it was a big wasp. I yelled NOPE and rushed into my room. When my mother came back from work, she saw and killed it.
Finally the scariest happened today. I was with my fiance playing Pokemon go. Suddenly something zoomed past us. I asked what it was and he said it was a bee. I then quickly asked if it was on me, no was his reply. I was fixing my hair and felt a buzzing sensation. I squealed and tried to get it off me. Luckily my fiance swatted it off of me. He then said "it wasn't a bee, it was a wasp.
That recent encounter made me even more afraid of these bastards. Funny enough, I used to be afraid of spiders. Now I kill them for fun (if they're in my house of course)
