Is bio oil any good to use for aging skin?

Ive noticed fine wrinkles appearing the older im getting and want rid of a deep frown line i have on my forehead (although i know it will never go fully, but an improvement is better than nothing!) I was just wondering whether Bio Oil is a good thing to be using for aging skin and whether there are others out there using it for the same reason? If so, are the effects of using it any good? It does state on the bottle it is for aging skin, as well as stretch marks.... Not sure if I should actually be using a cream instead?

Forgot to say, always wear a sunscreen! An SPF 15 (94% protection) for indoors and SPF 30 (96% protection) outdoors!

    I am a bit of a beauty geek ;)

Yea, there's uv light from your computer screen if you are those that could sit in front of it all day.

I've been using bio oil for half a year now. I don't use a lot each time, just a couple of drops in addition to my facial moisturiser (at night). I personally don't think it could eliminate wrinkles that are already there, but it does a tremendous job to keep your skin hydrated overnight. I think having extra hydration to your skin would help preventing fine lines.

What's the best anti-ageing formula? Vitamins A, C and E from foods, plenty of water, exercise and sleep!

    Good Luck :)

Bio-Oil is "mainly" for scars and stuff (should have everything it does on it) not the best anti-aging product. But its average, save it for scars and stuff really.

EXCELLENT FOR NON-ENDING DRY SKIN THOUGH. Take my advice, i had dry skin due to the weather for ages, i could never get it moistened, even E45 couldnt do it.

Bio-Oil? Top stuff, it also healed my MANY scars as well, cuts, spot scars, you name it.

  • massaging also helps. Takes time but its like adding a grain of salt to a scale everyday. You wait for it to tip believing its a waste of time but you know in theory the result is real.
